Teaching Assistant

Required from 12 April 2016 – 22 July 2016.

Hours of work 8.45 am – 3.15 pm Monday – Friday, term time only.

Grade 6

Actual pay for the four month period:

April    £629.73

May     £994.31

June     £994.31

July      £705.64

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Teaching Assistant working directly with a named student.

Responsibility will include:

• Supporting students through transition from the nurture curriculum (Year 8) into mainstream classes.
• Supporting students social and emotional needs.
• Supporting students’ integration into peer groups to be a valued member of the class.
• To support teachers in meeting the learning needs of individuals enabling academic progress.
• To contribute to meetings to share impact of support for specific students.
