Pathways+ is a double award offered across option blocks 2 & 3. It comprises of 100% Coursework all internally assessed. No exams. The course is equivalent in size to a GCSE.

AIM Qualifications Suite of Personal and Social Development Skills (130+ Guided Learning Hours)
The AIM suite of qualifications offers a diverse range of units which allows us to create a bespoke programme. The aim is for learners to become responsible citizens who will make a positive contribution to society.
Each unit builds towards the final qualification. All students will achieve a Certificate (equivalent in size to a GCSE) and some may progress to the Extended Certificate or Diploma by year 11. A core set of units will be taught covering topics around Citizenship, Relationships, Career Planning and Study Skills. There will be opportunities to support Literacy and Numeracy through targeted units and to accommodate student voice in choosing optional units.
Method of delivery
The AIMS course is 100% coursework, work is recorded using a variety of methods including written work, observations, presentations and videos. Every piece of work counts towards the final qualification.
Students can progress to other Level 1/2 vocational qualifications, Level 1/2 Apprenticeships or employment.
