Year 9

Students continue to be organised by ability. However, they now use the Heinemann Textbooks, which have a different approach where students are expected to think more about their mathematics. These textbooks are split into 4 different ability levels; L3-5, L4-6, L5-7 & L6-8. These books equip students to deal better with the functional maths, which they will now see more of in their GCSE Maths.
