Subject Aims and Objectives

Ultimately the department aims and objectives are to equip students with the necessary linguistic skills for life within a rapidly developing European community.

We aim to give students the opportunity to experience the language and culture of two important European countries, and to feel comfortable communicating in the target language at all times. We hope to promote the importance of foreign languages in a rapidly growing multi-cultural society.
