Ken Stimpson Community School is very proud of its Business & Enterprise specialist status.

We use our specialist status to raise standards of achievement and quality of learning for all students. Business & Enterprise related subjects will contribute to whole school improvement of your child at Ken Stimpson Community School, by developing innovative approaches to teaching and learning.  Enterprise activities are used to encourage team building, innovation, communication, problem solving, goal setting and risk taking - all of which are part of the Ken Stimpson Community School Footprints to Success. We will enrich and extend learning by encouraging economic and business understanding, organising enterprise activities and by offering opportunities for all our students to follow a wide range of work related learning pathways.

As a school we will endeavour to raise the Post 16 participation rate in specialist subject areas, and provide young people with the skills needed to progress into employment, further training or higher education, according to their individual abilities, aptitudes and ambitions.

We will be active partners in a learning society with our local families and their communities; sharing resources and developing and sharing good practice. The school will work in partnership with the wider community, including business and industry, to enhance opportunities for lifelong learning in the context of Business & Enterprise.
